Shine Summer Good Life 2016

Shine are back once again in 2016 after Easter Sunday's exceptional CeCe Rogers live show with his DJ comrade, the man himself Marshall Jefferson. This time expectations presented for 'Shine's Summer Good Life' event scheduled Sat 2nd July at the Leeds Warehouse, will be Detroit's Techno House pioneer Kevin Saunderson the creator of Inner City with female vocalist Paris Grey known for 'Pennies From Heaven', 'Big Fun', 'Your Love' & 80's track 'Good Life' the actual pivotal pavement hit which'd taken them into the UK's original commercial era of Techno & Acid House Summer Of Love years, the Rave culture finally reaching Radio 1 platform's. Also inspiring this Summer's show, entitled 'Shine Summer Good Life'. Not only did the Detroit powerhouse headliner don Inner City into a mainstream tipping point he actually, along with School friends Derrick May & Juan Atkins previously started a creative path of electronic music 'Detroit Techno' & named their trio after the school they attended some 39 years ago, calling themselves The Bellieview Three.

Joining Kevin will be Chicago's House Movement DJ producer & performer Robert Owens known for Fingers Inc, Mr Fingers. the almighty 'Tears' collaboration with Frankie Knuckles which was without doubt a unique laid back sound, springboarding seductive vocals into the back catalog of vintage House which still stands there as a timeless classic dominating those rare old vinyl record collections. 1992 yet again landed the 90's with yet again another timeless masterpiece 'I'll Be Your Friend' touched by the magic of Def Mix's David Morales collective outfit & Chicago House original Marshall Jefferson. Both versions are again signature belters with that unique perfection of Robert Owens' vocal. Expect on 2nd July both numbers to be sang while he spin's the best of House.

UK's longstanding K-Klass join main bill proceedings when the DJ duo Russ & Paul present in their set the the 30 year old groundbreaker debut Wildlife EP featuring 'Into The Night' plus others they became hot sellers with, such as 'Rhythm Is A Mystery', 'Let Me Show You' & 'So Right', having entered UK Chart territory with Bobbi's vocals. Finally 'Pianone' would be fair to say is an undisputed blinder which sure hit's the spot where there technique stands out from an underground edge meeting that ever so required radio friendly commercial vibe.

Cream resident & Quadrant Park legend, 2am until 6am late music liquor license pioneer in 1990, is proudly presented by Shine, John Kelly alongside new Resident whose stood residencies with some of the best brands worldwide, ie: The Hacienda, Renaissance & Leeds longstanding Back To Basics, Buckley from Leeds, flying in from Ibiza & now holds his own UK residency with Leeds outfit Shine.
