Shine presents FAC 51 Hacienda - [ SOLD OUT ]

Once again Shine join up with their north of England clubbing allies to present another outstanding event where Shine presents FAC51 The Hacienda featuring Chicago's house legend Marshall Jefferson and the Hacienda's 30 year resident, Graeme Park. This will be taking place on Saturday 2nd August 2014 at The Warehouse, voted recently as Leeds' No1 venue in the DJ Mag polls.

Jefferson's house music career stem's right back to his 1986 groundbreaking Trax Records release of 'Move Your Body' which was soon followed by further remixes and productions including Ten City's 'That's The Way Love Is', Hacienda floorfiller 'I Need Somebody' by Kechia Jenkins alongside an epic collaboration of the CeCe Rogers 'Someday' track, all of which cemented him firmly on the global house scene. Also recognised as one of the founding fathers of house Marshall has worked with many in the business from Lil Louie to Steve Silk Hurley, Joe Smooth & the Godfather of house himself, the late Frankie Knuckles.

The Hacienda’s reputation stands as one of the most influential clubs in history and has set many DJ's on their way to success so Shine has brought together many of the legendary players who graced the club in its heyday and along with Marshall and Parky, Shine have invited previous residents Jon Dasilva, Tom Wainwright & Buckley to play on the night.

A legendary setting for late Eighties and Nineties clubbing in Leeds, 35 years since opening, The Warehouse like The Hacienda has come to have a formidable reputation across the scene and from then onwards both Leeds and Manchester have often combined on special events in both cities and Hacienda Leeds, first Saturday in August continues this today.
